Responsibilities

– Perform analysis on raw material, in-process, finished products and waste water samples
– Responsible for calibration and maintenance program of lab equipment
– Perform minor repair and maintenance on instrument as well as identifying root cause of faulty instrument
– Maintain good lab inventory to ensure constant supply of chemicals and consumables
– Maintain lab documents and quality records and ensure they are quality compliance and audit ready
– Assist in setting-up, commissioning and validating new instruments and analytical methods.

Requirements

– Diploma/Higher NITEC/NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline
– Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience preferably in chemical, petrochemical or oil & gas industry. Bulk pharmaceuticals will also be considered
– Familiar with oil & gas analysis will be an added advantage
– Hands-on experience of ICP, HPLC, GC, FTIR, titrator, total sulfur/nitrogen analyzer and etc.
– Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

– Perform laboratory investigations
– Assist in processing of tissue biopsies, embedding & tissue cutting of Histopathology Laboratory
– Perform and is responsible for the routine and special staining procedures including mounting and labeling of slides
– Perform investigations of biological specimens, skin scrapings, microscopic examinations and report results

Requirements

– Diploma in Biochemistry/Biomedical Sciences/Biotechnology or related fields
– Open to fresh diploma graduates
